If temperature reaches 120°F, valve begins to close inlet orifice, and at 130°F, inlet orifice fully closes. Ram-type plug provides tight seal upon shutoff, and valve automatically opens when temperature cools. Valve is made of stainless steel and Teflon and is rated for 3000 psi.
