Apr 22, 2002 Model 439 Two-Channel Attenuator-Amplifier has gain range of 118 dB in one dB steps from -78 to +40 dB. Gain is set by front panel rotary encoder and displayed on LCD. Each channel's gain can be set independently or they can be set together. Power amplifier is included to drive stereo headphone for audiometric testing or other use. Clock noise is eliminated by putting microprocessor into sleep mode when not programming gain.
