Appearance changes little after extended UV exposure and chalky pigment residue does not form on surface. Product is targeted for use in auto exterior applications such as trim elements, windshield wiper and door handle components, window rail end caps, and antenna mounts.

Parts machined from acetal offer low water absorption and dimensional stability. Material is used in bearings, bushings, gears, material handling equipment parts, electronic components, and parts in pump assemblies.

Surface readily accepts paints and inks. Delrin® FS comes in coils from .007–.125 in. thick and up to 24 in. wide, and sheets up to .250 in. thick and up to 48 in. wide. Metric sizes, up to 1250 mm wide, are available for international markets.
