Models EC5, EC15, EC20, and EC30 provide up to 1 million actuations at dynamic load capacity. Electromechanical wrap spring clutches provide torque in only one direction, which permits overrunning. Once spring has wrapped down, each clutch can accelerate loads from 0 to full speed in less than 3 msec. Typical operating speeds are 100-800 rpm with 1,400 rpm max.
