New Low Voltage, NEMA 23 Brushless DC Motor

Servo Magnetics Inc. - Canoga Park, CA- the new 000-0222 brushless DC motor from Servo Magnetics Inc. is designed for low voltage operation where economy and a standard NEMA 23 interface are requirements. Designed with an operating voltage of 12 volts, this motor is capable of delivering 25 oz-in continuously or in excess of 80 oz-in peak torque. Other standard voltages of 24 and 48 volts are also available. The performance is accomplished in a compact 2.25" diameter by 2.23" length. This workhorse utilizes a cast end bell and a convenient front NEMA 23-style plate mount to simplify implementation. The motor was designed for reciprocating load requirements and is an excellent choice for blower, pump and industrial process applications. The motor is configured to include Hall-effect sensors however; SMI can supply the motor with an encoder option as well as a variety of other electrical and mechanical configurations. This NEMA 23 frame size is also available from SMI in other lengths including 3.00" for higher power requirements. Web site: www.servomag.com
