Planetary Gearheads feature backlash design.

September 4, 2014

Utilizing helical gears for quiet performance, HPN Planetary Gearheads couple to any servo motor with Quick-Connect™ coupling. Units are available in 5 sizes of 11, 14, 20, 32, and 40 with reduction ratios from 3:1 to 31:1 Backlash is less than 5 arc-min for 1-stage and less than 7 arc-min for 2-stage. With peak torque from 9–752 N∙m, gearheads provide precision motion control and positioning in defense, robotics, medical, aerospace, and machine tool applications. Read More

Planetary Gearhead (32 mm) accommodates high radial loads.

July 18, 2013

Single-stage planetary gearheads GP 32 AR and GP 32 CR suit applications that place increased stress on output stage due to radial forces at work. Output stage bearings are positioned as far apart as possible, allowing compensation for radial forces up to 140 N. Reinforced planetary carrier has separate bearings, and axles of planet gears are securely fixed in both halves. For max torque and life span, axles are available in ceramic; short-term permissible torque reaches up to 1.25 Nm. Read More
