To accommodate applications requiring flowable or brushable moldmaking material, 2-component QM 132T has 10:1 mix ratio by weight and can obtain either thixotropic or flowable properties via 3 catalyst options. Tear-resistant silicone rubber, as flexible, translucent moldmaking material, works with polyester, polyurethane, and epoxy resins as casting materials and cures at room temperature. Work life is ~35 min before material doubles in viscosity, and demold time ranges from 12–16 hr.

Based on styrenic TPE chemistry, Sarlink® Thermoplastic Elastomers exhibit strength and elasticity comparable to TPVs, but provide smoother part surfaces and equivalent or better long-term UV stability. Loctite® Frekote® PU7000™ is designed for open cell or gloss surface foams, while PU7001™ release agent and PU7200™ mold sealer are suited for flexible polyurethane or semi-rigid polyurethane foams. Spray applied at temperatures from 95-149°F are thermally stable to 450°F and dry in 30 sec when exposed to ambient moisture at 110°F. Solvent-based polymers offer low mold buildup and minimal transfer during production of polyurethane foams and thermoplastic resins, coatings, and films.
