Kistler at MEDTEC Europe 2012: 100 % Quality with Process Monitoring for Injection Molding, Assembly and Product Inspection

Injection Molding, Assembly and Product Inspection

In-process quality assurance solutions made by Kistler Group have proven their high
efficiency for applications in medical technology, diagnostics and pharmaceutical industry for years. At the specialist trade show MEDTEC Europe, which takes place from 13 through 15 March, 2012 in Stuttgart/Germany, visitors to the Kistler booth no. 4453 in hall 4 will find out how the specialist's sensors complete measuring chains and NC joining systems guarantee 100 % quality and separation of defective parts at the earliest possible stage.

Kistler provides solutions for different production and inspection tasks for the entire process chain including injection molding, assembly and product inspection.
Kistler sensors and systems monitor the cavity pressure and separate all defective parts during the injection molding process without the need for post-production quality
inspection. The "QUALITY MOLDING powered by Kistler" seal applies to pressure and
pressure-temperature sensors, CoMo Injection process monitoring systems, CoMo
DataCenter process and quality data analysis and Stasa QC quality prediction, which uses the tolerance limits stated in the component specification as quality criteria for in-process quality monitoring.

Kistler force sensors are used during assembly processes to monitor joining forces.
Deviations from the measured joining forces are used by process monitoring systems for the detection of flawed workpieces and damaged tools. The "QUALITY JOINING powered by
Kistler" seal illustrates the benefit of force sensors and monitoring systems when integrated into assembly units. Electromechanical NC joining systems integrate actuation and force sensor technology into compact systems for force-monitored assembly processes. Cableless telemetric transmission of the force signal and their standard compatibility with clean-room production processes to ISO 8 are the salient characteristics of the new NC joining module NCFT Type 2157B... with force monitoring integrated into the ram. The new features provide outstanding benefits for processes with small test and joining forces such as sensitive press-fit processes and testing routines of medical technology applications. Used during fully automated product inspection, force or torque sensors detect the relevant component properties and check them for compliance with defined tolerances. Force and reaction torque sensors for testing actuation forces and maXYmos XY monitors for the analysis of measuring data are perfect examples of the Kistler range of products for the inspection of medical and pharmaceutical components with the "QUALITY TESTING powered by Kistler" seal.
