Designed for 2 brush type motors or other inductive loads, 7I40 is available in low-voltage and high-voltage models respectively rated at 10 A, 40 Vdc and 7 A, 80 Vdc per axis. Each bridge has selectable overcurrent limits of .75x and 1.5x rated current. Overvoltage clamp protects against inductive voltage surges, while low on resistance MOSFETs and gate drivers give 7I40 efficiency and lack of dead time needed to support switching rates to 100 kHz.
