Four-axis GE Fanuc CNC control is programmed in conversational style. Machine sharpens gear hobs up to 4.00 in. dia and 8.00 in. long.

Feb 04, 2002 Electronic GP 300 ES can change over from spur to helical gears, or from one helix angle to another without having to first change guide to accommodate new gear. This eliminates timely changeovers for mechanical and hydrostatic helical guide systems. It uses backlash-free direct drive under CNC control, so any helix angle within stroke rates and length can be created by changing CNC programs.

While it can accommodate wet cutting processes, it is well-suited for dry machining.
