Universal Dock Levelers withstand heavy usage.

Blue Giant Equipment Corp.    Brampton, ON L6W 3K2  Canada
Apr 30, 2010 Offered in 4 rated capacities from 30,000-45,000 lb, U-Series is comprised of hydraulic, mechanical, and vertical models. Each universal dock, to withstand heavy use, features minimum of 6 U-beams welded at dynamic impact points on underside of deck. Single lip hinge pin enables strengthened and evenly distributed load, while continuous one-piece headboard intensifies strength of deck's front structure. To compensate for canted truck beds, products flex up to 4 in. under load.

Jul 15, 2008 MD Comfort Series hydraulic levelers (MD-CH), controlled via remote-mounted, single-push-button NEMA 4 station, use 2 cylinders to operate deck/lip and come in 72 and 78 in. widths. Featuring spring-balanced lifting system operated via comfort-grip handle that also functions as maintenance stand, mechanical levelers (MD-CM) come in 66, 72, and 78 in. widths. Both types have 30,000 lb max operating capacity and working ranges of 5 in. above to 5 in. below dock level.

May 13, 2008 Designed to promote safety and productivity, Z-Deck(TM) Truck Leveler provides full-width access to virtually any load by raising trailer to appropriate dock height for loading/unloading. Trailers can be serviced at or above dock height due to Z-shaped deck design that helps minimize slope of lifting surface. This adds to safety by keeping tires even and reduces opportunity for trailers to move away from dock. Surface-mounted solution does not require below-grade pit.

Oct 31, 2007 Available in capacities from 20,000-25,000 lb, Edge of Dock Leveler (EP) automatically returns to stored position when truck leaves, and features self-storing handle and bumper and bumper blocks. Optimum dock height for conventional trailers is 51 in., and proper dock height for refrigerated equipment is 55 in. Widths of 72 and 78 in. are available, while refrigerated lip is optional. With Lo-Dock Leveler (LD), users can raise height of their present dock as much as 11 in.

Jun 05, 2007 Offering capacities from 25,000-40,000 lb, Mantis Series features yieldable lip that absorbs incoming trailer impact to prevent platform and trailer damage. Single pushbutton activation, for deck and lip, can be located on one remotely wall-mounted control station, complete with external reset button. Equipped with various safety features, series comes in 6, 8, or 10 ft lengths and 6, 6.5, or 7 ft widths. Working range is 12 in. above to 12 in. below dock level.

Oct 24, 2006 Available in 25,000-50,000 lb capacities, AIRDOCK features reinforced, PVC-coated, single chamber air bag that eliminates friction wear and tear and is suitable for all environments and extreme weather conditions. In stored position, air bag is completely protected from blowing dust, snow, rain, and debris as well as foreign objects in pit area. Auto-Descent(TM) lip extension uses natural weight of deck to activate lip without compromising power from lifting mechanism.

Oct 24, 2005 Designed to span gap between warehouse and trailer, LoadHog(TM) mounts to warehouse floor using 4 anchor bolts and requires no concrete work. Unit stores inside warehouse and allows dock door to close tight against floor. Arc design and raised side housings provide structural integrity that withstands 3- and 4-wheel forklift traffic. Available in 5, 6, and 7 ft widths, dock bridge features 17 in. pre-ramp for smooth transition from warehouse to deck.

Rite-Hite Corp.    Milwaukee, WI 53224
Jun 06, 2005 Series RHH, RHA, and RHM are hydraulic, air-powered, and mechanical loading dock levelers that address risk of back injuries by minimizing jolts to lift truck drivers crossing leveler platform and warehouse floor. Rear hinge create smooth transition, while 2-point crown control provides seamless crossing from leveler to truck bed. All models have SAFE-T-STRUT maintenance support strut for safe pit access during maintenance, and meet or exceed ANSI MH30.1 standards.

Rite-Hite Aftermarket Corp.    Milwaukee, WI 53223
Nov 08, 2004 Dock Leveler Conversion Kit turns mechanical style leveler into hydraulic unit, eliminating need for dock personnel to bend when pulling chain to lift mechanical lever. Kit replaces mechanical safety leg with hydraulic velocity-fuse safety, which provides unrestricted service range above and below dock. Kit fits Rite-Hite and competitive brand mechanical dock levelers up to 6 x 10 ft. Standard single-phase power or optional 3-phase power can be used.
