Fiber Optic Couplers

(Showing headlines 1 - 10)

Couplers and Signal Splitters target OCT systems.

Gould Fiber Optics    Millersville, MD 21108
Feb 05, 2014 Wideband and UltraBand Fiber Optic Couplers and Optical Signal Splitters now include fused single mode models with bandwidths of ±100 nm, ±150 nm, and beyond as well as polarization maintaining units with bandwidth up to ±50 nm. Small and insensitive to operating wavelengths, products are suitable for use in instrumentation, OCT imaging systems, and CATV distribution. By selecting proper fiber type, devices can be optimized to work from visible range up to L band.

Fiber Based Couplers operate from 405-760 nm.

Gould Fiber Optics    Millersville, MD 21108
Nov 14, 2013 Available in standard and pure silica fiber, Polarization Maintaining Couplers are manufactured using Fused Biconically Tapered process and patented packaging platforms. Units feature low insertion loss, low excess loss, and low polarization dependent loss. Couplers are suited for use in OCT, sensors, medical, defense, gyroscopes, and telecom applications.

Medium Voltage Inductive Coupler Kit offers low insertion loss.

PREMO Group    Barcelona   Spain
May 30, 2013 Kit includes 2 units of medium voltage non-intrusive inductive coupler for smart grids (Prime and G3 PLC); MICU 300A-S/LF Series transmits PLC signals between power line and PLC data transceiver without connection of communication cable to power line. While >5 kV insulation promotes safe installation, nanocrystalline materials avoid saturation problems at elevated currents. Customized for Maxim G3-PLC modems, solution is also compatible with Enverv PLC modem chipsets.

Optical Couplers, Transceivers meet telecom/datacom requirements.

FCI Electronics    Etters, PA 17319 9769
Apr 03, 2013 Intended for telecom, datacom, and military applications, multi-mode and single-mode optical tap, splitter, and star couplers feature simplistic connector terminations and come in ruggedized housings that isolate fused fiber area. Miniature 2 x 12 channel (TX=RX) single on-board transceiver system supports next generation Infiniband and Ethernet standards as well as other emerging intra box optical/electrical specifications. There are 2 low-profile pluggable electrical connector options.

Fiber Coupler/Splitters feature fused biconical tapered process.

Gould Fiber Optics    Millersville, MD 21108
Mar 22, 2013 Built on fused biconical tapered (FBT) process and proprietary packaging platforms, 1X3 polarization maintaining (PM) truly-fused fiber coupler/splitters offer high extinction ratio with polarization launch into single- or dual-axis (slow axis and fast axis). Tests have shown PER of greater than 18 dB and uniform split ratios. Harsh-environment resistant products are suited for use in fiber communication systems, gyroscopes, aerospace, laser, sensor, test, and measurement applications.

Mode Converter Fiber Coupler uses Gaussian profile fiber input.

JK Lasers    Warwickshire CV21 1QN  United Kingdom
Feb 25, 2011 Mode Converter Fiber Coupler (MCFC) takes Gaussian profile single-mode fiber input from fiber laser and couples it into Luminator(TM) fiber. Focused spot sizes in range of 60-1,500 µm can be selected by use of appropriate Luminator process tools. Product has detachable output fiber and suits welding applications where profile and small spot size of Gaussian beam are not optimal, such as butt welding parts with fit-up tolerances larger than Gaussian spot size or thin foil welding.

Megladon Manufacturing Group, Ltd.    Austin, TX 78758
Nov 09, 2010 Utilizing Bend Insensitive Singlemode Glass and HLC connections, SM Fiber Optic Couplers/Splitters include all standard connector types and packages and can be customized for various split ratios and lengths. HLC SCRATCHGUARD® connection technology combined with bend insensitive glass minimizes bend loss, insertion loss, optical return loss, and endface scratching/contamination.

Fiber Optic Coupler/Splitters serve variety of applications.

Timbercon    Lake Oswego, OR 97035
Feb 17, 2009 Available in 1 x 2, 1 x 3, 1 x 4, 1 x 8, 2 x 2, and 2 x 4 configurations with all industry standard fiber optic connectors, Polarization Maintaining coupler/splitters either combine 2 or more signals into one or split one signal into multiple paths. They support 1,550, 1,310, 1,060, 980/960, 780, and 633 nm wavelengths. Customizable units are offered in either ruggedized plastic housing with 3 mm leads or low profile stainless steel tube for high density equipment requirements.

Timbercon    Lake Oswego, OR 97035
Jul 01, 2008 Standard single mode coupler/splitters are used to either combine 2 or more signals into 1 or split 1 signal into multiple paths. They come in 1 x 2, 1 x 3, 1 x 4, 1 x 8, 1 x 16, 1 x 32, 2 x 2, and 2 x 4 configurations with LC, SC, FC, and ST fiber optic connectors and polishes. Each unit is offered in either ruggedized plastic housing with 3 mm leads or low profile stainless steel tube for high density equipment requirements.
