Units are available with granular activated carbon or 50/50 blend of carbon and activated alumina impregnated with 5% potassium permanganate. Filters are 24 x 24 x 12 in., pleated, and provide 7 lb of GAC or 8.6 lb of 50/50 adsorbent blend. Galvanized steel frames resist corrosion in moist, humid conditions, and are available with or without header.

Filter is fully enclosed and based on reciprocating tray concept, making it possible to carry out multi-step process operations in single unit, including filtration, co-current or counter-current washing, and cake drying. It operates with normal air atmosphere while processing hazardous or toxic materials, or materials that require containment.

Press is constructed of stainless steel and polypropylene, with other options available. Filters are available in sizes from 19 to 1720 sq ft filtration area. Chemical-processing applications include solvent-wetted processes and sanitary applications.
