Solution Series Assembly consists of two steel, 2-piece collars; one which is free to slide on shaft and push against component to be moved, and another which clamps securely to shaft. I.D., assembly can be infinitely repositioned along shaft and offers from 5,000 to 8,000 lb thrust, depending upon size.

Machined from steel and fully split, Chrome-Plated Shaft Collars are offered in one- and two-piece, clamp-type styles, in 47 bore sizes from 1/8 to 3 in. ID. Shaft collars are suitable for use in machinery, instruments, and equipment where aesthetics and corrosion resistance are critical. Custom collars can be produced in larger sizes and/or with special threads, hinges, and knurls.

Shaft Clamps are standard on encoders.

Accu-Coder(TM) hollow shaft and thru-bore encoders offer shaft clamp mounting mechanism, which grips all surfaces of shaft evenly and is less likely than set screw arrangement to slip in presence of heavy vibration. Clamp will not mar or score shaft.
