New Economical Stemi DR & DV 4 Stereomicroscopes for Education, Training, & Routine Testing
Thornwood, NY - Carl Zeiss MicroImaging, Inc. has introduced four basic stereomicroscopes at very attractive prices. Two new entry-level stereomicroscopes - Stemi DR1040 and Stemi DR 1663 with integrated, 2-position fixed magnification for fast switching between reproducible, standard magnifications. The Stemi DR 1040 has a 10x overview magnification and 40x magnification for detailed observation. The Stemi DR 1663 has 16x and 63x magnifications.
The Stemi DV4 (Double Lens Vario, zoom factor 4) is equipped with a new, patented continuous zoom system that guarantees brilliant, high-resolution images of exceptional quality from 8x overview to 32x detail view. The images remain razor-sharp throughout the zoom range - an outstanding feature in instrument of this class.
The Stemi DV4 SPOT has a fiber-optic cold light illuminator integrated into the microscope body to ensure a fully illuminated specimen field at all times. The light SPOT illuminates the specimen at a near-right angle ensuring almost shadow-less lighting with high contrast ideal for applications with special boom stands and for OEM users.
All four stereomicroscopes can be used with the new, Model C Stand equipped with a high-intensity illuminator and three illumination modes. Switching between reflected, transmitted and mixed light is as easy as pressing a button. New stand and magnification levels along with the patented zoom system increase the operational quality and flexibility of these stereomicroscopes.
Major accessories, such as the transmitted-light darkfield unit, equipment for direct measurements, and adapters for digital image documentation have been tailor-made for the DV & DR family of stereomicroscopes. Intelligent interfaces guarantee connection to other Zeiss stereomicroscope modular systems.
