The Linear Motion and Assembly Technologies division of Bosch Rexroth Corporation has introduced a new, high-precision linear module, type PSK, for demanding cleanroom applications.
New PSK Precision Modules from Bosch Rexroth exploit advanced positioning technologies to help manufacturers in the semiconductor and life science industries achieve higher accuracies and increased throughput. Certified for use in Class 10 cleanrooms, the new PSK modules use a unique sealing strip to prevent contamination in sensitive environments.
An extruded steel base with an integral ball rail guide way enable the PSK Precision Modules to achieve positioning repeatability of 0.005 mm with payloads up to 44,760 N and at speeds up to 1.6 m/s. Designed to be interchangeable with competing modules, the PSK can also be used to upgrade existing equipment or machinery.
