Tension Meter measures elevator wire rope tension.

Tension Meter measures elevator wire rope tension.

Dillon Quantrol Force Measurement Prducts & Systems    Fairmont, MN 56031
Apr 20, 2010 Suitable for loads up to 10,000 lb per wire rope, Quick Balance Tension Meter can attach to rope, measure tension, and be removed in seconds. Each individual reading can be compared to target settings stored in memory and displayed alongside current readings. Device also delivers average wire rope load data and features totalizer to provide overall elevator weight. Accommodating ½, 9/16, and 5/8 in. wire rope sizes, meter comes with one set of sheaves ranging from ¼-¾ in.

Belt Tension Meter helps optimize transmission performance.

Belt Tension Meter helps optimize transmission performance.

Seiffert Industrial    Richardson, TX 75081
Jan 28, 2010 With Trummeter Pro, users can measure belt tension of pulley-driven transmissions and adjust it accordingly. Device displays tension reading and also indicates if tension is too high or too low. When user induces slight vibration on drive belt, meter will detect vibration and estimate natural frequency of belt assembly. Together with belt mass and length of free belt strand, true force is calculated. Optional evaluation software lets user store and report measured values.

Tension Meter withstands washdown environments.

MAGPOWR    Oklahoma City, OK 73114
Jan 05, 2007 Digital Tension Meter (DTM) displays web tension in applications where access to control parameters is not required or inconvenient for operator. LCD readout features 0.6 in. red digits and selectable decimal point. To ensure operation in wash-down or dusty environments, meter is constructed with high-impact plastic case and sealed front panel. DTM features DIN rail mounts and simplified wiring connections to facilitate installation.

Wire Tension Meters ensure part accuracy.

Wire Tension Meters ensure part accuracy.

Mitsubishi EDM/MC Machinery Systems, Inc.    Wood Dale, IL 60191
Dec 19, 2006 Available in digital and analog models, Wire Tension Meters confirm wire tension on EDM is exact, preserving part integrity. Analog meters check tensions from 5-5,000 g and include internal magnetic dampening, which promotes balanced movement for accurate readings in any position. Able to be read in g, N, or lb, digital meters have back-lit display that indicates tension value, battery level, and material being tested. Units automatically power off after 10 min on non-use.

Nov 15, 2005 Quick-Check Tension Meter incorporates loadcell with LCD display that instantly calculates tension of guy wires, overhead wires, and elevator cables. With sheaves that accommodate rated wire sizes of 3/16-¾ in., lever-operated meter does not require manual calculation, lookup tables, or conversion charts and is available in 2 tension capacities up to 8,000 lb/35 kN/3,500 kg. Handheld unit offers on-board storage for up to 15 calibrations.

BRECOflex Co., L.L.C.    Eatontown, NJ 07724
Mar 16, 2004 Model SM4 Universal Tension Meter measures frequency of all belt types, regardless of composition. It provides readings in range of 6–350 Hz ±5% and is suited for setting up belt drive systems. Meter helps eliminate belt under- and over-tensioning, reducing wear, vibration, noise, and friction.

Tensile Strength Pull Tester is fully portable.

Tensile Strength Pull Tester is fully portable.

MidTel Technologies    Arlington Heights, IL 60004
Nov 21, 2002 MPT-100 Crimp Pull Test instrument certifies quality of crimping coax connectors and center pins to various lengths of coax cable. Tool makes ratchet-action destructive pull type force measurements to crimp-on coax connectors terminated cable samples, providing up to 200 lb force. Digital readout displays fail force point in 1/2 in. high digits. System consists of digital meter, tensile stress tester, and power supply. Accuracy is ±0.5% of reading.

Tensiometers continuously monitor cable tension.

Tensiometers continuously monitor cable tension.

Dillon, A Div. Of Weigh-Tronix    Fairmont, MN 56031
Dec 21, 2001 RLT tensiometers coupled with force indicators provide real-time display and data capture of speed, distance, and tension for cable laying or winding/unwinding applications. 11 models are available with capacities from 20 lbs to 40,000 lbs. Units feature 3 roller bearing sheaves. Load cell transmits line tension as well as current peak, total distance traveled, and rate of travel, to indicator with 99.5% accuracy.
