May 15, 2008 Optimized for direct digital synthesis of high-frequency and wideband signals in first Nyquist zone, MAX19693 12-bit converter can directly synthesize signals in frequency range from dc to nearly 2 GHz. It operates from 3.3 and 1.8 V supplies, and achieves SFDR of greater than 70 dBc for output frequencies less than 800 MHz and 62 dBc at output frequency of 1,500 MHz. At 4.0 Gsps update rate and output frequency of 200 MHz, unit offers wideband-noise spectral density of -164 dBm/Hz.
