Oct 28, 2002 Designed to be used without enclosure, model FI22 offers snap-mount bracket and adhesive mounting method. Setup is accomplished via visible light beam and real-time feedback of 8-segment LED bargraph display. Unit features push-button 1 or 2-point static, and 2-point dynamic TEACH programming as well as manual adjustment mode. Unit operates from 10 to 30 Vdc and includes reverse polarity protection, two 100 mA solid state outputs, and transient voltage protection.

Temperature Sensor has fast response time.

Oct 11, 2002 Based on optics and nanotechnologies, MEMS-based HERO temperature sensor produces response times of less than 1 ms. Able to mate with company's optical signal conditioners, with up to 2 Mhz sampling rate, sensor is completely immune to electromagnetic, electrical, microwave, and radio-frequency fields. With 150 micron diameter and 100 micron thickness, it allows low thermal sink effect.

May 16, 2002 With three available settings -- high speed (HS), standard (nL), and high sensitivity (HP) -- single channel FVDK 10x69Y0 can detect objects as small as 15 micro m, and transparent objects such as glass, foil, and wafers. Its high-speed mode is suitable for fast handling processes. Sensor can distinguish contrasts when using either red or blue LED light source versions. Amplifier performs object and contrast detection, background suppression, and high-speed teach-in.

Apr 12, 2002 FS-V20 offers 50 micro second response time, detecting up to 10,000 targets per second. Four-element LED light source provides detection distances up to 1800 mm, plus stable operation in harsh environments. Six user selectable light power modes, viewable on display, offer 6 levels of detection distances. High resolution mode digitizes received light to 16 bits or 65,520 levels. FS-V20 supports 1-line wire connection system.

Mar 14, 2002 Focused-beam fibers pipe light into otherwise inaccessible locations, and focus beam to very small spot, allowing fiber-optic sensors to detect small parts. Fibers come in fixed and adjustable sensing distance models. L4C6 and L4C20 convergent lens attachments allow sensing at fixed focal distances of 0.24 and 0.79 in., respectively, with spot dia. as small as 0.01 in. Other attachments include PLI-A10 assembly and LZ3C8 right angle sensor.

Feb 13, 2002 PD60 family of fiber optic sensors, cables and accessories have programmable amplifiers, which can be controlled through keyboard on amplifier, or remotely by wire. Amplifiers have 10-30 Vdc power supply, NPN and PNP outputs, and LED bar graph to show strength of signal. Versions are available for plastic and glass fiber optic cables. All have keyboard lock, which prevents tampering or inadvertent changes to sensor setup.
