With three available settings -- high speed (HS), standard (nL), and high sensitivity (HP) -- single channel FVDK 10x69Y0 can detect objects as small as 15 micro m, and transparent objects such as glass, foil, and wafers. Its high-speed mode is suitable for fast handling processes. Sensor can distinguish contrasts when using either red or blue LED light source versions. Amplifier performs object and contrast detection, background suppression, and high-speed teach-in.

Feb 13, 2002 PD60 family of fiber optic sensors, cables and accessories have programmable amplifiers, which can be controlled through keyboard on amplifier, or remotely by wire. Amplifiers have 10-30 Vdc power supply, NPN and PNP outputs, and LED bar graph to show strength of signal. Versions are available for plastic and glass fiber optic cables. All have keyboard lock, which prevents tampering or inadvertent changes to sensor setup.
