Targeting telecom and electronics technicians, Model 10140 Crimping Tool for Micro Connections is capable of crimping 1.25-2.5 mm narrow pitch connector pin wires, and handles D-Sub connector contacts from variety of manufacturers. Pliers are made of S55C with Teflon coating, and feature oil-resistant elastomer handles, locking latch, and coiled spring. Measuring 6.8 in. long, tool allows for fatigue-free work.

Made of adhesive-backed polyolefin, QSW Wraparound Sleeves permit permanent repair of minor damage to cable insulation without requiring connector to be removed from cable. Products are available in flat sheets with widths of 60 or 100 mm and lengths of 100, 200, 300, and 400 mm. With continuous operating temperature of -45 to 110°C, sleeves have minimum shrink temperature of 70°C, with full recovery at 130°C. They install with small propane torch, heat gun, or production oven.
