Linear Motor Positioning Gantry offers 2-axis motion control.

May 9, 2014 - Featuring dual axis design, Model SRS-002-007/003-003-01-XY is suited for applications that require precise synchronized control of motion profiles. Each axis incorporates 1 micron resolution linear encoders for position feedback. Bottom axis has 1.75 in. stroke and generates 5.1 lb of force at 100% duty, while top axis has 2.75 in. stroke and generates 2.7 lb of force at 100% duty. Stages are driven by brushless linear motors which are guided by recirculating linear ball bearing blocks and rails.

The bottom axis has a 1.75 in [44.5 mm stroke; and generates 5.1 lbs [22.6 N of force at 100% duty and 20.4 lbs [90.4 N of force at 10% duty. The top axis has a 2.75 in [70 mm stroke; and generates 2.7 lbs [11.9 N of force at 100% duty and 810.7 lbs [47.7 N of force at 10% duty. The stage dimensions are 5.25 in [133 mm x 5.25 in [133 mm x 2.77 in [70 mm.
