Available with on board terminal block (screw type) connections or Molex KK series 2 pc pluggable connectors, USB 2.0-controlled JSB542 series DAQ module provides 4 channels of 24-bit counters. Each can be configured as 1 of 5 types of counters: Frequency, Period, Time between pulses, Quadrature, and Event. While Period and time counters have selectable time base of 1-100 MHz, frequency counter has selectable gate times from 1 msec to 2 sec.

GRANADA HILLS, CALIFORNIA. J-Works. Inc has start shipping the JSB542 series of USB 2.0 Controlled multifunction counter modules. The JSB-542 is a USB data acquisition module that provides 4 channels 24bit counters that each can configured as 1 of 5 types of counters. The five types are Frequency, Period, Time between pulses, Quadrature and Event counter. Period and time counters have a selectable time base 1 MHz to 100Mhz. Frequency counter has selectable gate times from 1 millisecond to 2 seconds. The quadrature counter supports both indexed and nonindexed quadrature encoders in a X1, X2 or X4 count mode. Modules are available with on board terminal block (screw type) connections or the Molex KK series of 2 pc pluggable connectors. Easy to use software interface includes a windows driver and a DLL or Class Library API. Linux support disk is also available. This small form factor module replaces pc based plug-in cards for use in various test, control, monitor and measurement applications.
