Metabo's Newest Compact Angle Grinder Makes Working More Efficient with Quick Change Wheel System

WEST CHESTER, Pa. - Metabo Corporation, a leading international manufacturer of professional grade portable electric power tools and abrasives for industrial, construction and welding applications, now offers the 6" W11-150 Quick Compact Class Angle Grinder incorporating Metabo's quick change wheel system that makes changing discs quicker and easier without the use of tools.
With a long-lasting 9.6-Amp motor, the W11-150 Quick is ideal for cutting and grinding applications in the metalworking and mechanical maintenance industries. The Metabo Vibratech (MVT) side handle reduces vibration up to 60% for extraordinary user comfort during prolonged work periods and lower risk of white finger syndrome. The tool's ergonomic two-position side handle and 'racket' grip design ensures secure operation at all times.
Additional grinder features include a large, accessible spindle lock button, auto-stop carbon brush, and the Metabo "S-Automatic" safety slip clutch to help protect the operator from kickback by absorbing the torque created by a possible wheel bind or snag.
The W11-150 weighs just 6 lbs. and has one of the most effective dust protection systems on the market for extended service life. The system includes a fully encapsulated on/off switch and carbon brush holders, double-lipped labyrinth sealed bearings as well as Metabo's unique dust-deflecting winding protection grid.
