Delivered as uncatalyzed HCR, it requires addition of platinum- or peroxide-base catalyst to cure with heat. It can be used for transfer or compression molded parts - gaskets, stoppers, seals - and can also be extruded or calendared depending on processing requirements.

NuSil Technology Expands Line of Aerospace Materials with HCR Fluorosilicone


Carpinteria, California - August 14, 2008 - NuSil Technology (www.nusil.com), a cutting-edge manufacturer of silicone-based materials for aerospace, aircraft, electronics and photonics industries, has announced the launch of FS-3780, a fluorosilicone highconsistency rubber (HCR).

NuSil's FS-3780 is ideal for applications requiring solvent resistance. It is delivered as an uncatalyzed HCR and requires the addition of a platinum- or peroxide-base catalyst to cure with heat. It is designed to be used for transfer or compression molded parts, such as gaskets, stoppers and seals. It can also be extruded or calendared depending on the processing requirements.
