VIBRATION ISOLATION WORKSTATION ALLOWS EASY CUSTOMIZATION

KINETIC SYSTEMS, INC., BOSTON, MA - The versatile 9100 Series Vibration Isolation Workstations offer Faraday Cages and other efficiency-improving accessories. These workstations can be configured for a wide variety of applications in which external vibrations adversely affect the operation of sensitive equipment. They have been proven in applications including semiconductor processing, telecommunications, aerospace engineering, and medical research.

Customization options include provisions for ergonomically correct comfort as well as application- specific convenience. Optional Faraday Cages protect sensitive operations from electromagnetic interference, and tabletop enclosures protect against harsh manufacturing environments. Additional options include oversized keyboard shelves designed to accommodate a mouse, overhead equipment shelves, monitor stands, non-isolated sliding shelves for positioning equipment off the isolated tabletop, electrical outlet strips for lighting and other electrical accessories, guard rails, padded armrests for ergonomic comfort, retractable casters for ease of repositioning, and many more.

The 9100 Series is available with a load capacity of either 800 or 1300 pounds (800 lb. model is field convertible to 1300 lbs.). The 9100 Series is Class 100 cleanroom compatible, with Class 10 available as an option. Tabletops range from 24" x 36" to 36" x 72" and are available in lightweight "honeycomb" or composite. Units feature a high-performance Active-Air Suspension, which provides a vibration-controlled work environment with low natural frequencies and excellent vertical and horizontal isolation efficiencies. A preset zero deflection level is maintained regardless of load addition or removal.

Typical uses for the 9100 Series workstations include analytical balances, cell injection, confocal microscopes, patch clamping, optical microscopes, wafer probing, mask aligning, atomic force microscopes, and many more.

Kinetic Systems, Inc., is a leader in the design, manufacture, and marketing of vibration isolation equipment, optical tables, and related components used in a wide range of industries worldwide, including research and development, quality control, laboratories, and semiconductor manufacturing.
