Irvine, CA - Sep 09, 2003 - Designed for high temperature environments either indoors or outside, the new UW3804X and UW5805S White Through-Hole LEDs from Stanley Electric deliver high brightness that makes them ideal for a wide range of indicator or display applications.
With a luminous intensity of up to 2000 mcd (If=20mA), the UW Series White LEDs offer excellent lighting ergonomic characteristics. They are suitable for use as indoor/outdoor displays, signs and symbol illumination, indicators in appliances, automotive, medical devices, - as well as industrial controls.
The UW Series White LEDs are designed with an InGaN die for superior brightness and long life. Both packages come in a water-clear lens, and offer up to a 50- degree-viewing angle, depending on package.
Designed for variable operating environments, the UW Series White LEDs operate at temperatures that range from -40°C to +85°C. Other key specifications include: 107 mW power dissipation, 25 mA forward current, 60 mA peak forward current, and 5 V reverse voltage. Derating is from 0.33 (DC) 0.85 (pulse) mA/°C.
The through-hole UW Series White LEDs comes in either a 3mm (UW3804X) or 5mm (UW5805S) package. Tape-and-reel packaging is available for high-speed pick-and-place equipment. Dip-soldering equipment can be used with the UW Series White LEDs.
