Valencia, CA - High resolution, compact, voice coil stages with up to 50.8 mm (2 in.) of travel, with no force or velocity ripple for very smooth motion are ideal for precise motion control applications such as scanning, lens grinding, and laser and mirror positioning. These direct drive, zero backlash stages with an encoder resolution as low as 0.0001mm (0.1 micron), acceleration up to 98 m/sec2 (10g's), and no moving cables, offer the benefits of higher performance and greater reliability than belt or lead screw mechanical drive systems.
H2W Technologies manufactures a complete range of voice coil stages from 0 to 222 N (0 to 50 Lbs) continuous force and 667 N (150 Lbs peak force). These closed loop voice coil stages require a linear servo amplifier, which is available as a complete motion control, plug-and-play system from H2W Technologies.
