MPEG4 Video/Audio Server for Instant 'Video-over-IP' TPC/IP Networks
Pittsford, NY. VPORT2310(TM) is a single-channel video/audio server which uses cutting edge MPEG4 technology to send synchronized video and audio signals across an Ethernet network. A web browser interface makes configuring the unit and receiving the live audio/video as simple as accessing a standard website. Because of the efficient MPEG4 compression used, each live feed sent by VPORT2310(TM) occupies less than 1.2Mbps, so even wireless Ethernet networks can be used to distribute the signal to viewing PCs. The video from standard NTSC or PAL color cameras streams at 30frames/sec in 352 x 240 pixel resolution. The RCA audio signal input provides 24kbp wideband audio coding.
Built-in motion detection is also included with VPORT2310(TM) - great for surveillance applications. In addition, one digital input and one digital output lines are available for interacting with external alarms and sensors. A serial port enables camera control features (pan, tilt, zoom). The Ethernet interface is auto-sensing 10/100Mbps. Housed in a sturdy metal box only 72.25 x 106 x 50mm(W xL x H), VPORT2310 operates from 0-60 deg.C on a 6 -16VDC supply (power supply included). Password protection is provided for secure image viewing.
