VELOX Introduces Products from ICR Sprint

VELOX GmbH ("VELOX"), a European leader in the marketing and supply of raw materials specialities for plastics, composites, rubber, paints & coatings industries, distributes since the beginning of this year the composites products of ICR Sprint.
VELOX has a longstanding history in supplying raw materials specialities for technical applications across Europe. It has extended its activity by investing into the composites market in acquiring the Composite Unit business of Azelis group in October 2012.
VELOX expands now significantly its product range in the additives and bonding pastes categories with its partnership with ICR Sprint. Since the beginning of 2013 VELOX became the official supplier for composites products for this Italian company.
Located in Reggio Emilia, Italy, ICR serves technically demanding segments. This promising partnership will help to develop the awareness on pioneering products. With the European distribution, it will increase the number of new projects and develop different applications.
VELOX aims to specially promote the urethane-acrylic structural adhesive range of ICR Sprint with their innovative product XO7 EXTREME. This structural adhesive allows to glue with very high resistance, and can be used in technical applications such as yachting, railway, automotive, windmill wing, building. The main benefit of this product are to increase productivity, reduce sanding and limit the number of products used. Â
About ICR Sprint
Industria Chimica Reggiana was established in 1961 in Reggio Emilia and was quickly well implemented on the national level by the production of Putty and Glue for Marble and Stone, covering several market fields where it has reached a leading position with the brand Sprint sold in all over the globe. On the strength of these successes, ICR had by the 1990s already embarked on a diversification strategy by developing product lines in synergistic fields: Industrial Paints, Fiber-based Putties for fiberglass marine yachts and a complementary line of Hand Cleaner.
