S-Band VCO: SMV3400A-LF - Excellent Harmonic Suppression
SAN DIEGO, July 18, 2008: Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model SMV3400A-LF in S-band. The SMV3400A-LF operates from 3220-3580 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.5-3 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -80 dBc/Hz @10KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 230 MHz/V.
The SMV3400A-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 5 dBm at 3.3V DC supply while drawing only 16 mA (typical) over the temperature range of -30º to 85ºC. This VCO features excellent typical 2nd harmonic suppression of -30 dBc and comes in Z-Comm's industry SUB MINI-L package measuring only 0.3 in. x 0.3 in. x 0.08 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The SMV3400A-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
