C & D Technologies' Powercom Division Introduces The VR Solor(R) Battery Designed For Renewable Energy Applications
Blue Bell, PA, April 26, 2002 -- C&D TECHNOLOGIES, Inc., a leading provider of flooded and valve regulated lead-acid batteries, rectifiers, converters, inverters, monitoring systems and dc power distribution, has announced the release of their Valve-Regulated Battery for Renewable Energy Storage, the VR Solar®.
C&D's Powercom Division offers this new Valve-Regulated Battery as an ideal choice for standby systems requiring an extended float. These 12-volt modular units allow for easy connections in series or parallel to match customer input requirements (12 to 120+ Volts). These batteries have a very long discharge capability allowing for consecutive days of usage and are capable of retaining maximum stored energy while in a standby mode.
