Vacuum Units from FIPA: Safe, Flexible and Energy Saving
Portable for vacuuming liquids / Stationary for the vacuum supply of major consumers
The efficient solution for vacuum supply for all needs and any industry: FIPA (www.fipa.com) has added to its comprehensive range of vacuum technology with the VZ series vacuum units.
Portable vacuum units for vacuuming cooling/lubricating agents, e.g. for the machining of glass and marble, stationary vacuum units for the vacuum supply of bulk consumers, such as hospitals or waste incinerating plants.
A FIPA vacuum unit consists of up to three oil-lubricated vacuum pumps, one reservoir tank, one control unit to manually or automatically operate the vacuum unit and any necessary system peripherals. The vacuum pumps provide a vacuum degree of up to -990 mbar, which is stored in the vacuum-sealed reservoir tank.
High process safety with low energy costs
The reservoir tank and several vacuum pumps make it possible to generate a vacuum according to need and thus considerably reduces energy and maintenance costs. In addition, the storage function even guarantees safe production processes if the vacuum generator fails, for example, in case of a power failure. A bypass system makes it possible to isolate the individual pumps from the system and thus maintain them without interrupting production.
Flexible solutions for every application
The extremely flexible and portable vacuum units mainly serve for vacuuming cooling lubricant agents or non-aggressive liquids and/or for the vacuum supply of attachment tools and vacuum-suction devices.
The pumps are on a horizontal tank. The units are available in different models from 8 to 25 liter tanks with a weight from 11 to 70 kg and a flow rate of about 4 to 60 m3/h.
The stationary vacuum units are naturally more powerful than the portable versions with a total flow rate from 25 to 915 m3/h and horizontal or vertical vacuum tanks in a range from 100 to 1,000 liters content.
The stationary vacuum units were developed for bulk consumers from medicine, production and packaging as well as for vacuum handling in the most diverse "Pick & Place" applications.
If hygiene is a particular requirement
"We have placed great importance on the vacuum units also meeting the highest hygiene requirements", said FIPA President and Owner Rainer Mehrer. For example, on request, a GFB hygiene filter in accordance with the standard EN 737/3 can be installed between the vacuum unit and load, so that in hospitals no bacteria, organic pollutants or dirt particles can get into the system through the pumps' intake sockets when generating a vacuum at neurological sites.
The vacuum unit's control using the control board is space saving, easy to use and also safe: switching from one pump to another, manual or automatic operation, vacuum monitoring and all the necessary safety elements, here the FIPA philosophy of "Solutions from practice for practice" is developed down to the tiniest detail.
