Advantech Launches 200 kS/s 16-bit Multi-Function USB I/O Module

(Cincinnati, Ohio - 2/28/2007) - The eAutomation Group of Advantech introduces the USB-4716, a 200 kS/s 16-bit multi-function USB I/O module. The USB-4716 has been specifically designed for industrial environments and includes a USB connector with screw fasteners and a DIN-rail mounting kit. It draws power directly from the USB port and therefore does not require an external power supply. Relying on the plug-and-play features of USB, the USB-4716 is such an easy to use data acquisition device that users need less than five minutes to setup before acquiring data.
