Ultrasonic Meter Handles Suspended Particles

Racine, WI - Hedland HTTF Ultrasonic Flow Meters are a reliable solution for machine tool coolant lines and other industrial processes where contaminants can cause inaccurate readings. The non-invasive meters are not affected by suspended solids or gas pockets and provide accurate, bi-directional flow measurement. Because they simply clamp onto the outside of the pipe they are easy and economical to install.

The meters can be used with carbon steel and stainless steel pipes, and copper and plastic tubing in sizes from ½ " (12 mm) to 2" (50 mm) with liquid temperatures from 0°F to 180°F (-20°C to +85°C). The enclosure is weather proof for indoor or outdoor mounting and is available with or without a rate and totalizer display. Remote mount transducers are available for pipe sizes from ½" (12 mm) to 100" (2540 mm).

Direct interface is provided for integrated data collection systems via 4-20mA output and either TTL-pulse or simulated turbine meter outputs that are proportional to the fluid flow rate.

UltraLink(TM), a Windows® compatible software utility is available for customer configuration and in-field calibration.
