Low Cost VCO: V350ME19-LF Features Octave Tuning
SAN DIEGO, August 26, 2008: Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model V350ME19-LF in UHF-band. The V350ME19-LF operates from 300-600 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0-10 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -99 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 35 MHz/V.
The V350ME19-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 5 dBm at 5 Vdc supply while drawing only 14 mA (typical) over the temperature range of -40º to 85º C. This VCO comes in Z-Comm's industry standard MINI package measuring 0.50 in. x 0.50 in. x 0.22 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The V350ME19-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
