Seco-Carboloy Expands Minimaster Product Line For Increased Plunging and Copy Milling Capability
Warren, Mich., July 21, 2003 -- Seco-Carboloy has expanded its versatile and productive Minimaster family to include a new three-flute ballnose cutter, double angled chamfering inserts, plunge milling inserts and new carbide grades for longer tool life.
The new three-flute ballnose for copy milling provides five times the metal removal rate of conventional high-speed steel cutters. Three cutting edges and optimal combinations of geometries and grades - plus a generous supply or coolant through the internal coolant holes - allow these cutters to maintain high productivity in the majority of operations.
PCBN inserts are also available to suit high-speed roughing and finishing as well as plunge milling.
