Crystek Launches New 1GHz Voltage Controlled Saw Oscillator (VCSO)
Fort Myers, FL, January 2006 - Crystek Crystals Corporation announces the release of a 1GHz Voltage Controlled Saw Oscillator (VCSO). Crystek designed the module using FR5 PCB and SAW crystal technology to provide a low noise, low jitter VCSO with true SineWave output. The resulting oscillator features -135dBc/Hz phase noise at 10KHz offset.
Model number CVCSO-914-1000 comes in a 9x14mm SMT package. It uses a +5V supply and generates a true-sinewave with +7dBm min. output power and +/- 50ppm min. APR pullability. The new VCSO has no sub-harmonics; second harmonic is -20dBc typical. The CVCSO-914-1000 operates from -20°C to +70°C.
Applications include PLL frequency translation, test & measurement, avionics, point-to-point, multi-point radios and telecom.
