LS1 Side View, True Right Angle Surface Mount LED with Built-in Reflector
Menands, New York: Marktech Optoelectronics announces the availability of its new Side Look (View) Surface Mount LEDs. The LS1 side emitting LED series offers high reliability and is ideally suited for light guide applications.
The 4.0 x 4.0mm package offers more light output than traditional right angle packages. With a large 2.4mm diameter lens, this package is able to deliver maximum light emission. The LS1 series is industrial temperature rated from -40°C to +100°C and has a higher heat tolerance than traditional chip type LEDs. The LS1 package features an integrated reflector that offers a generous viewing angle of 120 degrees. Because of its low power consumption this device is also great for backlighting, optical indicators, automotive applications, and consumer products.
