Stereomicroscope includes revolving nosepiece.

Press Release Summary:

The MZ16 allows users to image 3D structures as small as 600 nm. It offers apochromatic correction for accurate color reproduction. Depth of field can be adjusted using built-in iris diaphragm for demanding specimens with minute height variations. MZ16 scans specimens from 7.1x up to 230x magnification with max resolution of 840 line pairs/mm. Rapid magnification changes using objective revolver reduce time spent on sorting, characterizing, and analyzing.

The Leica MZ16 high-performance stereomicroscope represents a new milestone in stereomicroscopy. As the world leader in zoom range, standard magnification, and optical resolution, the MZ16 allows users to image 3-dimensional structures as small as 600 nanometers for the very first time.

The MZ16 also offers apochromatic correction for the most accurate color reproduction available. In addition, depth of field can be adjusted using the built-in iris diaphragm for demanding specimens with minute height variations.

With the new revolving nosepiece, the MZ16 quickly scans specimens from 7.1x up to 230x magnification with a maximum resolution of 840 line pairs/mm. Rapid magnification changes using the objective revolver reduce time spent on tasks such
as sorting, characterizing, and analyzing by up to five-fold.

The Leica MZ16 is also the cornerstone of an imaging station capable of digital information storage and global exchange. Leica Microsystems offers a complete range of digital cameras along with image management and image analysis software for processing and utilizing your most important data.
