The clamp provides a large diametrical adjustment range, which is associated with worm gear clamps, but maintains the higher strength of a T-bolt clamp. This allows customers to order one rugged product for use in several different applications. Also, the clamp does not require expensive installation tools, which are typical of other large adjustment style clamps. Clampco's clamp can be fastened using a simple torque wrench, a common factory and maintenance tool.
