RF Connectors Introduces New 75 OHM Mini-SMB Snap-On Connector Series
The new 75 ohm Mini-SMB snap-on connector series delivers broadband performance with low reflection dc through 4 GHz in applications where weight and physical space is limited. This series meets the demands of wireless markets such as Test & Measurement, Telecommunications, Global Positioning Satellites (GPS), process Control and PC/LAN. Rated at 500 Vrms, -65 to +165°C, these connectors are the same size as standard 50ohm SMB connectors, but 35% smaller than standard 75ohm SMB connectors. They comply with MIL-STD 348 and meet Mil-c39012 requirements. This connector series includes straight (RSB-200-1-179) and right angle (RSB-21-0-1-179) crimp plugs for RG-179/U cable, vertical and right angle PCB plugs and jacks, and both straight (RSB-220-1-179) and bulkhead (RSB-221-1-179) crimp jacks for RG-179-U cable. All series connectors feature gold-plated, machined brass bodies, Teflon insulation and gold-plated contacts.
