VTI Expands Integrated Data Acquisition Signal Conditioning Product Line

Irvine, CA October 26, 2009 VTI Instruments Corporation is pleased to announce the release of its latest data acquisition product offering, the EX10SC Modular Signal Conditioning platform. As part of VTI's EX1000 series, this instrument provides industrial grade isolation and input protection across a broad range of transducers and input types.

The EX10SC is the perfect complement to the EX1000 series of precision data acquisition instruments, said Jon Semancik, VTI's Director of Marketing. Virtually any transducer type can be seamlessly integrated with the EX1000 family to deliver unmatched measurement flexibility and performance.

The EX10SC provides the ability to integrate thermocouple, RTD, thermistor, strain gage, pressure, voltage, and frequency inputs into the EX1000A, EX1016A and EX1032A data stream. Features such as 1500 V rms isolation and 240 V AC input protection allow users to safely address the most challenging environments without sacrificing measurement integrity.

Input channels can be configured individually by matching the signal characteristics with the appropriate signal conditioning module. This design enables exceptional measurement flexibility. Additionally, LAN-based LXI Class A connectivity delivers a scalable architecture, which is ideal for distributed measurements, along with over-the-wire synchronization of multiple devices and time stamping. Placing the instrumentation near the test article also reduces setup time and support costs.
