TEDS-Tag Identifies Load Cells and Stores Calibration Data!
Electro Standards Laboratories announces CellMite Model 4325B Intelligent Digital Signal Conditioner with TEDS-Tag for automatic load cell identification. This bridgesensor "plus" connects to a standard strain gage, load cell, extensometer, or pressure sensor, and simultaneously generates a serial output for connection to a PC as well as a +/-10V analog output. The CellMite features a TEDS-Tag identification system that reads the serial number of the load cell. Both serial number and calibration data are stored in non-volatile memory. The need to recalibrate when the load cell is removed and then reconnected is eliminated. CellMite with TEDS-Tag automatically reloads the calibration data.

The unit offers scalable 16-bit +/-10V analog output. The sample rate is 60 samples/sec. Functions include tare, peak and valley. Units measured include Lb., Kg., In. Cm, %, and User-defined.
The CellMite compensates for transducer nonlinearities using its integrated 6-point calibration. Multiple units can be connected in a serial network configuration. The CellMite features a nonvolatile memory for parameter and calibration storage and the ability to select between three transducers. CellMite offers multi-point and mV/V calibration and remote sense excitation. Optional CellView Lite software guides the user through all phases of setup and sensor calibrations. Tests can be setup to start and stop automatically. Data can be saved to spreadsheets.
