Version MK3 systems receive updated features for improved performance, easier use

Bellaire, Texas, USA - (July 30, 2004) - The Blastrac® 1-10D and 1-10D Super shot blasting systems for surface preparation of concrete or steel have been updated with new features for improved performance and easier use. Now available in version "MK3," the 1-10D and 1-10D Super include items such as a permanently attached umbilical power cord, easy-read analog gauge for blast load amps, urethane feed spout for quick access to blast wheel components and slide-out screen for debris removal that make the machines easier to setup, use and maintain. Newly redesigned components such as the separator, rebound plenum and blast housing, along with cast top and rebound liners provide longer wear life and less frequent
maintenance.

The Blastrac 1-10D with its 10 h.p. motor, and the 1-10D Super with its 15 h.p. motor prepare concrete for recoating or application of overlays, and easily remove markings, dirt and
old coatings. On steel surfaces, they remove paint, rust and corrosion. Designed for medium to large sized jobs such as industrial plant and warehouse floors, parking garages, bridges,
highways, airport tarmacs, ship decks and storage tanks, these self-propelled systems clean and profile simultaneously. The machines run on 230/460 volt, three phase power.
