Servo Motor provides 100 W continuous mechanical power.

Press Release Summary:

Operating at 2,000 rpm, NEMA 34 Model QCI-A34L-1 requires only 4.5 A, which means single cable can be used for both motor and encoder signals. Motor delivers 185 oz-in. continuous torque and 260 oz-in. peak torque. Ability to handle inertial mismatches of 100:1 makes motor suited for driving large flywheel loads without additional gearing.

$395 (500pc $259) NEMA 34 Servo Motor

QuickSilver Controls, Inc. expands its line of servo motors with the QCI-A34L-1. The 34L-1 only requires 4.5A which means a single cable can be used for both motor and encoder signals and the servo motor can be driven from a small SilverDust D2 controller.

The 34L-1 has a list price of $395 (OEM 500 piece $259) and a system cost, including motor, cable and controller; starting at $950 (OEM 500 piece system $635). This OEM system (pictured) includes the 48V SilverDust D2-IG-01 controller which is only 2.75" (70mm) x 3.00" (76mm).

QCI-34L-1
o 185 oz-in (1.3Nm) Continuous Torque
o 260 oz-in (1.8Nm) Peak Torque
o 100W Continuous Mechanical Power
o 8000 count/rev Encoder
o 2000 RPM

With QCI's ability to handle inertial miss-matches of 100:1, this motor is ideal for driving large flywheel loads without additional gearing.

The 34L-1 is an economical solution for motion control applications including semiconductor, packaging, medical and food processing.
