New MMC Smart Drive Servo Amplifiers Help Simplify Motion Control Application Development

Fond du Lac, Wisconsin - G&L Motion Control's new MMC Smart Drive provides 0.5kW to 24kW continuous output power in a compact, easy-to-install package. Available in both 230VAC and 460VAC systems, MMC Smart Drives operate on a wide voltage supply range of 100VAC to 528VAC, single and three phase. These amplifiers with integral power supplies provide robust solutions to industrial automation applications.

Drive configuration is integrated into G&L Motion Control's PiCPro(TM) for Windows, the same programming tool used to develop IEC61131 ladder logic, function block and structured text programs for their MMC Machine & Motion Control systems. Integrating the drive configuration and application programming into a single environment simplifies application development and maintenance.
