Sequoia Communications Adopts LogicVision's SiVision Yield Analysis Solution

Automation Enables Faster Time-to-Yield and Improved End-Product Quality

SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 3 // -- LogicVision, Inc. (NASDAQ:LGVN), a leading provider of semiconductor test and yield learning solutions, today announced that Sequoia Communications, the RF semiconductor company setting new benchmarks in multi-mode design and integration, has adopted its SiVision Yield Analysis application.

"We selected SiVision because of its powerful automated data analysis and reporting capabilities as well as its ease-of-use in identifying and debugging yield issues," said Reza Kasnavi, director of product development, Sequoia Communications. "We chose the hosted version of SiVision for its quick implementation on LogicVision's servers without the requirements for the dedicated hardware and IT resources."

SiVision is an automated, easy-to-use Yield Analysis environment that provides 2nd generation data management, analysis and reporting capabilities. SiVision's unique SmartPE(TM) infrastructure allows semiconductor companies to automate their yield procedures and define data mining rules that automatically identify yield limiters.

Sequoia Communications will use SiVision to automatically upload test and foundry data as soon as it becomes available, and to automate data analysis during the characterization, pre-production and volume production phases.

"SiVision combines powerful analysis capabilities with unique automation, which significantly improves the productivity of product and test engineering resources," said Jim Healy, president and CEO of LogicVision. "Semiconductor companies are using SiVision to accelerate silicon characterization and speed their time-to-yield, while at the same time meeting or exceeding their product reliability requirements."
