SCHURTER to Exhibit Input Systems at MD&M
Santa Rosa, California, June 22st, 2021 – Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M) West will hold its long awaited post COVID-19 expo at the Anaheim Convention Center August 10-12. MD&M and its five sister shows will attract engineers, business leaders, disruptive companies, and innovative thinkers spanning numerous industries. The live event has been reimagined with plans for an immersive expo that will feature expert education, networking hubs, product showcases, and overall state-of-the-industry well-check.
SCHURTER is eager to attend the in-person event and equally excited to present its Input Systems business unit. Input Systems “Goes West” is part of SCHURTER’s global expansion initiatives to bring its Europe based knowledge, skills and experiences in touch solutions to its subsidiary company SCHURTER Inc in Santa Rosa, California. SCHURTER Inc has been a successful component distributor for the SCHURTER Group for 39 years and will enter its next decade as a producer of PCAP touch screens.
The Northern California based SCHURTER Inc will also be featuring its new TTS Touchless Switch. The COVID-19 pandemic has greatly raised the consciousness of the dangers of spreading pathogens, particularly as it relates to man and machine interface. This phenomenon gives rise to increased demand for touchless activation of equipment and appliances used in public access areas, which has consequently created demand for non-contact switches to replace conventional touch switching technologies.
