Rittal Plans Launch of the RimatriX5, A Scalable, Flexible Data Center Solution
ATLANTA, GA, March 15, 2006 - Rittal Corporation, Springfield, OH, is announcing the North American launch of RimatriX5, a scalable, flexible data center solution that provides outstanding IT service and on-demand growth capability. Held in conjunction with AFCOM's Data Center World Spring Conference, the launch is scheduled March 21 from 7-10 p.m. at the 755 Club inside Atlanta's Turner Field Stadium. The event will be an opportunity for data center managers, designers, planners, technicians, integrators and consultants, as well as media representatives, to preview the features of RimatriX5 and to speak with Rittal data center design and implementation experts. As part of the launch festivities, there will also be VIP tours given of Turner Field, home of the Atlanta Braves.
Designed to save both time and money, the RimatriX5 is composed of five core components - enclosures, power, cooling, security and monitoring. This modular approach to data center design includes power concepts that allow the quick addition of capacity, redundancy and power protection without the need for costly electricians. This system effectively shifts the distribution of power from a traditional load center / junction box to a series of Power Distribution Modules housed in a Power Distribution Rack.
The RimatriX5 also features:
· advanced cooling solutions including liquid cooling for high-density applications and modular cooling components that eliminate data center hot spots
· the TS8 server enclosure platform which permits scalable suite options for optimized space utilization
· system-wide monitoring and control to provide preventive intervention when critical issues arise
