Versatile Safety Relay for 2 Hand Control Applications
The Safe Z.2 Series safety relay from Riese Electronic is specifically designed for use with two hand Control applications such as presses or other hazardous machinery where a workers hands might be at risk. The relay will operate only if both elements are pressed within 0.5 seconds of each other. The Safe Z.2 utilizes a compact 22.5 mm housing, has LED visual indicators for both state of Operation and power indication and is suitable for applications up to Safety Catagory 4. The Safe Z.2 comes with 2 Normally Open safety, 1 Normally Auxiliary Closed contact as well as 1 PLC-Output ( PNP) which allows system monitoring via a PLC. The Safe Z.2 meets two hand control standards in accordance with ZH 1 / 456 and DIN EN 574.
